Honyaki (Single-Steel) Knives

For Honyaki knives, engraving must be performed prior to the hardening process.
As a result, the knife must be specially manufactured from the beginning, and completion requires several months.

  • 1–3 characters may be engraved below our shop stamp
  • Certain double-bevel Japanese knives may allow 6–8 characters on the reverse side
  • 1–3 characters may be engraved on the reverse side of the bolster
